Just looking at a college application can turn a student’s face white and parent’s hair gray. There is so much to do: gather together school records, include the requested test scores, get letters of recommendation, and write that all-important personal essay.
It can be overwhelming for the most educated Silicon Valley parent and Mountain View High School District knows it. As part of a Parent Ed Speaker Series, they have invited speaker Jon Reider to lead the discussion, “Admission Matters: What Parents and Students Need to Know” on Thursday, October 21. The class runs from 7pm until 9pm and will be at Mountain View High School on Truman Avenue.
