You have participated in testing out the Quantum Translocator 4300, shortened to QT 4300. The controller for the day’s experiment is Steve, who will guide you through the game controls and how the QT 4300 works.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to control the game character. Pressing the Up arrow key will allow the game character to jump.
Press the W on your keyboard to drop what is referred to as a quantum shadow. A black version of the game character will be created. As you move around the map, you can teleport to this spot by pressing the spacebar.
When you teleport, the top-left hand corner of the screen will show the status as cooling. While the status is on cooling, you will be unable to drop a quantum shadow, nor will you be able to teleport until the status is set back to Ready.
One tip that Steve the controller provides is the fact that the QT 4300 maintains momentum. When teleporting to a quantum shadow position, the direction you were moving in will continue from that position. In other words, if you jump before teleporting, you will continue the jump from the position of the quantum shadow. This allows you to perform jumps that are higher than usual.
Press R to restart the stage.
To begin the game, simply use the arrow keys to move to either Continue Game if you are continuing a game, or New Game if you are starting a new game.
The objective of each stage in My First Quantum Trans. is to reach the other side of the stage. There will be some obstacles in your way, of course, such as ledges and other obstacles. Some will help you out, like bouncy platforms that give you a height boost if you touch them.
There will be some places in the game that will have save spots in the form of a switch. Simply move your game character past the switch to activate it. You can now return to this spot when you continue playing the game next time.
The story will alter as you play the game, especially after completing the initial training.
My First Quantum Trans. is an addicting, challenging puzzle platformer that will entertain many people. The rather simple controls allow players to dive in to the gameplay immediately. The puzzles are not too easy and not too difficult.
Overall, My First Quantum Trans. scores an 10/10 for a high level of entertainment.
