Oatmeal can be used as a great scrub for the face. Just wet your face, pour a little oatmeal in your hand, gently rub onto your face, and rinse. This is a very gentle face scrub. You can also grind oatmeal up and pour it into your bath. Its great for soothing irritated itchy skin.
Another good facial scrub is sugar. After you pour your cleanser in your hand, add a little sugar before applying to face.
Want an instant face lift? Slightly beat up an egg yolk and brush on your face. Leave it on till it dries, then rinse it off. Now you have instant tight skin and smaller looking pores. If you want stronger hair, apply the egg to your hair. Leave on 10 to 15 minutes and wash out using your favorite shampoo.
4) Baking Soda
Add baking soda to a glob or your shampoo to make it a clarifying shampoo. Come out with clean shiny hair. Sprinkle a little baking soda in your bath for softer skin.
5) Olive Oil
Olive oil is a great all over moisturizer. You can smear it from your head to your toes for soft great looking skin. Just use less for oily skin. To use as a hot oil treatment, put it in hair and wrap a warm towel around hair for about 10 minutes or sit under a dryer with a plastic shower cap on. Shampoo and style as usual.
6) Green Tea
Got dry cracked lips. Dip a green tea bag in very warm but not hot water. Squeeze and place tea bag on your lips for a few minutes. This will help your cracked lips heal faster.
