Several weeks ago we reported on the imminent opening of a new thrift store in Clinton Hill at 469 Vanderbilt (on the corner of Gates ave) called Boutique Thrift.
As of the 17th, reports My Little O, the store is open for business.
A great deal more information about the boutique was also presented and customer reviews are beginning to come in as well. We can now say that the buzz is intriguing and we are quite excited about this new venture.
Boutique thrift is just the beginning, however.
It is the first of 30 stores that Chai Lifeline plans to open around Brooklyn. Chai is an organization that has been helping seriously ill children for 22 years, says My Little O, so Boutique Thrift is a place you can feel good about spending money. It is staffed by volunteers and supplied by donations.
The place is also getting very good customer reviews too, based on cheap prices, friendly staff, and great selection. This is not your typical thrift store: they are picky, and don’t accept just anything.
If you are interested in donating or volunteering, give them a call at 917.474.2759, or simply drop by.
