Formed by the tributaries of the Delaware Valley River, the slopes of these valleys grow some of the finest wine grapes in New Jersey. The Warren Hills American Viticultural Area (AVA), encompassing over 226 square miles, produces outstanding Vidal, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syval Blanc wines, among others. The southeast-facing slopes of the valleys create unique microclimates for growing grapes, especially French-American hybrids.
