November is a busy month for major new music releases. Here are some of the highlights from the second half of the month:
Lee DeWyze – Live It Up
American Idol Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze will finally be releasing his debut album this November. Sony Music, the singer’s record label, reports that the album will be a mix of “rootsy pop, rock and folk,” typical of the style DeWyze showed during his run on Idol. The first single was scheduled to make its radio debut on Ryan Seacrest’s show on October 13th. The song, “Serendipity” has an adult contemporary feel to it. You can check it out here.

Josh Groban – Illuminations
Whenever Josh Groban puts out a new CD, there’s always a buzz and this time is no different. On this, his first set since 2007’s “Noel”, Groban ventures into new territory working with the likes of superstar producer Rick Rubin. Rubin is well known for working with the likes of Metallica, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dixie Chicks, and many more. The collaboration amongst the two should make for an interesting set of new tracks.
