Naruto Ramen has arrived in Brooklyn, expanding from its original Manhattan location. This new-to-Brooklyn noodle restaurant opened its doors just last week and reviews by Brooklynians have so far been lukewarmly positive, with the consensus being that the noodles are decent and only moderately overpriced. While not the kind of reviews that light up most chef’s lives, standards are high in Brooklyn and rightfully so. Brooklyn in general and Park Slope in particular is home to some of the best food in the world and restaurants here can easily compete with those in Manhattan, in quality if not in price. Brooklyn wins the price war hands down.
Nevertheless, while not garnering rave reviews this little noodle restaurant is being welcomed optimistically by residents always looking for a new affordable dish. Naruto Ramen so far seems to meet both criteria, so it is likely to be around for a good long while. If it plays its cards right it can become a cute little lunch place for local commuters and resident’s alike.
