There’s a new exhibit at The Randall Museum called ‘Riding the Rails.’ It features a number of different train-themed points-of-interest that teach kids about the history of the railroad. Its highlight is an interactive scale model of a caboose railroad car so your little guys and gals can climb aboard and ride the rails!
Other interactive parts of the exhibit include a relief passenger car with interactive screens that teach about the Transcontinental Railroad and an urban rail exhibit with models of famous San Francisco buildings where young and old alike can ‘drive’ model trains around the tracks.
Randall Museum is located at 199 Museum Way. Call 415-554-9600 for more information.
