Out with the old sushi restaurant and in with the new! Deep Sushi/Deep Modern Sushi left Noe Valley and now Tataki, another sushi restaurant, is taking their place. This is the second location for Tataki and they’re bringing their philosophy of sustainability to the new menu in addition to a yakitori section since they have now have a robata grill.
With two rooms and a sushi bar, Tataki owners are unsure what the sushi needs of Noe Valley are, so they are opening only the front room (which seats 30) for now. They may open the back room and increase their hours if demand warrants.
Tataki is located at 1740 Church Street at Day. They are open for lunch during the week from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and open for dinner nightly at 5:30 p.m. (last seating is at 9:30 p.m.).
