Ines Sainz, the 32-year-old TV Azteca reporter, spoke openly today with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America about her weekend ordeal during the New York Jets practice. Sainz claims that she was sexually harassed by several players and personnel while interviewing quarterback Mark Sanchez in the locker room.
The former beauty pageant queen said she was not “uncomfortable” when the practice was taking place, even though some players appeared to be purposely throwing the ball in her direction so players could go near her on the sideline.

Instead, it was in the locker room where she began to hear less than desirable comments and cat calls directed at her.
Sainz also said that she never felt like she was in danger, and that the experience with some of the Jet’s players and personnel was the worst treatment she’s ever received.
NFL officials are involved in the alleged case and on Sunday, asked Sainz to explain to them what exactly had happened. Sainz is confident that the NFL will punish those responsible if they deem they did the young reporter wrong.
In her interview this morning, Sainz was asked if she thought that the outfit she wore to the Jet’s practice was “too provocative” to which she responded by saying that in nine years and over 250 interviews her clothes have never been an issue.
