Philadelphia Eagles QB Kevin Kolb will get his third straight this Sunday in place of the recovering Michael Vick. Head coach Andy Reid made the confirmation after practice today but also stood by his earlier comments that Vick will get his job back when he is healthy. Kolb has gone 2-0 since replacing Vick with a 3-TD, 300 yard passing game his last time out.
Analysis: This is starting to look like a very interesting situation in Philadelphia as Kolb has done nothing but play great since Vick got hurt. You could even say that the job was Kolb’s to begin with so why not stick with him since he is doing so well? A valid point yes but right now its best to go what the coach says and he says Vick starts when healthy. Of course Reid also said the same thing about Kolb when he was hurt so who knows. Kolb has a tough matchup this week against an aggressive Tennessee Titans defense.
