The NFL picks against the spread for November 21st are a matter of simple math. There will be some teams that have trouble playing on the road and other teams that are experiencing so much turmoil they will have trouble just getting on the field this weekend. One game featured could be a the game of the night and come down to a field goal but the spread is only a point and a half.
Washington Redskins vs Tennessee Titans -6
Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins enter their game with the Tennessee Titans with low expectations. Their running game has fallen on hard times and now as McNabb and his offensive coordinator, Kyle Shanahan bicker, the offense is beyond lost.
The Tennessee Titans defense has been their strong suit but the Tennessee Titans offense is scoring more points per game than any other team in the NFL. Chris Johnson may not be seeing additional holes because of the addition of Randy Moss but it should eventually help Johnson open up the running game. Take the Tennessee Titans -6 over the Washington Redskins. Full breakdown of Washington Redskins vs Tennessee Titans.
Seattle Seahawks vs New Orleans Saints -10.5
The Seattle Seahawks are the 2010 Jekyll and Hyde team of the NFL. The roster for the Seattle Seahawks has experienced over 200 moves since Pete Carroll has taken over and it could be one of the reason the team has suffered to put together a consistent season.
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are patiently awaiting Reggie Bush and his return to the line up. With Reggie Bush in the line up this team will once again be a potent offense. Another issue that has hurt the New Orleans Saints is the injuries to Darren Sharper. Take the New Orleans Saints -10.5 over the Seattle Seahawks. Full breakdown of Seattle Seahawks vs New Orleans Saints.
Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots -3
Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts will take on their bitter rivals the New England Patriots. Manning will be looking to go up top in this game against the young secondary of the New England Patriots early in the game. Manning will also attempt to get Donald Brown on track on short draw plays and dink passes out of the back field.
Tom Brady will test the Indianapolis Colts secondary in this game. The Colts are still weak against the run but Ben Jarvis-Green Ellis cannot be expected to rush for more than 60-65 yards in this game. Brady will work the Indianapolis Colts defense underneath and try to get the ball to Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez. Take the Indianapolis Colts +3 over the New England Patriots.
New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles -1.5
Eli Manning is developing into his own style of NFL quarterback and he may eventually supplant his older brother Peyton as the best NFL quarterback. Manning has plenty of options in the New York Giants offense. The big boost to the New York Giants offense came when they finally got a handle on their running game. Ahmad Bradshaw has finally made his mark in the running game and the New York Giants are averaging over 150 yards per game on the ground.
Michael Vick is a one man wrecking crew but he needs to be on his toes in this game. The New York Giants have knocked five quarterbacks out this season including Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys. Vick will have to get outside quick to avoid this fast defensive line and he will have to have his receivers running tight routes to avoid the pressure. Take the Philadelphia Eagles -1.5 points over the New York Giants. Full breakdown of New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles.
Denver Broncos vs San Diego Chargers -10.5
Kyle Orton and the Denver Broncos have racked up some amazing passing numbers but have failed to capitalize on them. The lack of a running game has hurt the Denver Broncos offense and they need to get Knowshon Moreno on track if they want to win.
Phillip Rivers has also thrown for some amazing numbers with little or no talent at the wide receiver position. In a few weeks Vincent Jackson will return and the San Diego Chargers could run away with the AFC West. Ryan Mathews must get in gear with the running game if the San Diego Chargers plan on making the NFL Playoffs and getting past the first round. Take the San Diego Chargers -10.5 points over the Denver Broncos.
The remainder of the NFL picks for the 11th week of football are bets that should only be made in office pools or other contests that require picking all games. Remember the more games that are bet, the tougher it is to maintain a high winning percentage.
