Oktoberfest starts September 24th and ends September 26th offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy authentic German food and beer, lively bands and a Kinderplatz featuring children’s crafts and shows. Dog shows will delight dog-lovers. Have your dining experience enhanced through observing cooking demonstrations. New this year is the NW Challenge X-Treme Air Dogs Championship finals.

Mt. Angel Oktoberfest
Celebrate Oktoberfest in Mr. Angel from September 16th through September 19th. Mt. Angel is a rural community pioneered in the 1800s by German settlers. Mt. Angel reminds Oktoberfest visitors of a Bavarian countryside setting.
Four stages will offer on-going live music. Children have opportunity to participate in rides and shows in a free Kindergarten. Street dancing excites the avid dancer on Friday and Saturday night. Ethnic food is offered in over 50 Alpine food chalets. Visitors can visit a traditional Biergarten, Weingarten or Alpinegarten. Lufthansa will feature the Original Donaumusikanten from German. Over 30 musical groups will be present. Ample parking is provided. Camping areas for RV and self-contained units is available.
September 11, 2010 is the date the 6th Annual Widmer Brothers Oktoberfest offers free admission. Widmer Brothers offers a selection of beer, including Okto (Oktoberfest Ale). Live music provided by Those Darn Accordions, Amadan, Hillstomp and others offers a setting to enjoy the German-style brats, chicken schnitzel wraps, kraut and pretzels that are offered.
