I have fallen in love with many Organix products. First of all, as promised, they are healthy. Organix hair care systems do not contain sulfates and phosphates that strip hair of its vital oil.
Secondly, Organix products are pure. They do not contain not too many harsh chemicals that strip it of its life and vitality.
Finally, they are simple to use. You can’t mess them up and the end result is always healthier, shiner, more luxurious hair.
While I love many of the products in the Organix lines, some of them do not work for me. That’s okay. They will work for people with hair types different than mine. That is what is so exceptional about the Organix line. There is something for every known hair flaw.
My favorite in the Organix line is their Nourishing Coconut Milk. I use it at least once a week, even while I’m still trying out other products in the line.
My newest find in the Coconut Milk line is their Split Ends Mender. It works wonders for my baby fine, fragile, brittle color treated hair. Even my hairdresser couldn’t help but notice the difference.
Like the rest of the Coconut Milk line, the Split End Mender still provides that rich blend of coconut milk and egg whites that helps to infuse new strengthens the hair shaft. It not only improves hair elasticity, but it seals existing split ends.
Coconut Milk products also infuse moisture into the hair so that it always looks healthy and hydrated. The end result is soft, beautiful hair that your man (or woman) won’t be able to resist touching.
Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender works by combining coconut oil with keratin and silk proteins. Known for their ability to repair damaged hair, the silk and keratin bind with the coconut oil to form the perfect anti-split end formula.
Working from the hair cuticle all the way through the hair shaft, Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender also chases away any trace of frizz. All it leaves behind are tresses that will make any woman feel like a movie star.
Ingredients include coconut milk, coconut oil, egg white protein, fragrance, glycerin, silk amino complex and water. They also include cetyl alcohol, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, hydrogenated polydecene, laureth-4, propylene glycol, sodium polyacrylate and trideceth-C6.
Using Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender is easy. First wash and condition hair as usual; hopefully with Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner. Towel dry.
Next, pump about a dime sized amount of Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together to even distribute the product. Then work it through the hair beginning at the ends and working up to the root.
I love this product. It really works and it leaves my hair looking amazing. Here is my summary review:
Effectiveness: 5 stars. Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender works the very first time you use it. However, it works even better as you repeat the treatment regularly.
Smell: 5 stars. This product smells just like coconut and feels like silk. What more can you ask?
Variety: 5 stars. If the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk hair care system isn’t right for you, there are plenty of other options to choose from. These include:
Grapefruit Mango Butter;
Lavender Soy Milk;
Mandarin Olive Oil;
Passion Fruit Guava;
Pomegranate Green Tea;
Tea Tree Mint;
Vanilla Silk and
White Tea Grapeseed.
However, all of those hair care systems have different conditioning and repair products, which may not include a split ends mender.
Packaging: 5 stars. Each Organix System has its own unique packaging, which is color-coded. The Nourishing Coconut Milk system is coded in white and gold. The white bottle comes with a gold cap and black ink. The gold Organix label is printed across the front of the bottle. The compact oval bottle makes the Split Ends Mender easy to locate on the store shelf.
Everything used by Organix is recycled or Earth friendly. The bottles are made from recycled materials and the ink is totally green in nature.
Ease of storage: 5 stars. The white plastic bottle measures less than 6″ in height by about 3″ in width by a little over 1.5″ in depth. It should be easy to store in a medicine cabinet, underneath the sink or in a drawer.
Availability: 5 stars. Organix products can be found in most major drug and discount department stores as well as some grocery stores and beauty boutiques. The Nourishing Coconut line is among the most popular systems in the Organix line and can be found very easily. Some of the other hair care systems in the line; however, can be much more difficult to locate.
Price: 3 stars. Organix products tend to be a bit more expensive than most common products along the same lines. However, they are certainly cheaper than designer lines that carry the same ingredients. I purchased mine at Wal-Mart for about $5 each.
Product purchase probability: 5 stars. I will definitely purchase this product over and over again.
Final rating: 4.8 stars.
