Did you know that you can organize e-mails by color to quickly identify specific e-mails?
Click on “Tools” and then “Organize.” See image above.
NOTE: There may be an “Organize” button on your toolbar.
Click on the “Using Colors” Tab on the left side of the “Organize” window.
Click on the drop down to select “From” or “Sent to” and then type the e-mail address to which you want to apply this rule. Click on the “Color” drop down and select the color you want to apply.
HINT: If you highlight an e-mail before clicking on “Organize,” the e-mail address will populate for you. Make sure you change this, if you are working on a color for a different e-mail address.
Once completed, click on the “Apply Color” button.
You may also select the second option “Show messages only sent to me” and choose a color for e-mails that match that criteria. Click on the “Turn On” button to turn on the rule. If you decide you do not want this rule, simply click on the “Turn Off” button.
Click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the “Organize” window to close the window.
Notice any e-mails that match the criteria are now colored as you selected.
