Facing the mortality of loved one, or even our mortality, is something that most people avoid. No one wants to think about getting a terminal illness and the arrangements that need to be made. And when these circumstances do come up, the lack of communication can lead to hastily made decisions.
To help you be informed for your own future and the future of your family members, Palo Alto Medical Foundation is presenting “What Everyone Should Know About Hospice” on November 9. The lecture will go from 7pm until 8:30pm at the Hearst Center for Health Education at 795 El Camino Real. The presenters will explain what a hospice is and how we can make the best end-of-life decisions for us and the ones we love.
The lecture is free and open to the public. Contact the Center at (650) 853-2960 for more information.
