Late Friday night (August 27), police told The Associated Press that they pulled over a car on a Las Vegas street. The 29 year old Paris Hilton was a passenger in the vehicle. Las Vegas police spokesman Marcus Martin said that Hilton was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of possession of cocaine. “Officers noticed a vehicle leaving a smoke trail of a controlled substance (and) made a stop based on that,” Martin said.
TMZ.com reports that the incident happened outside the Wynn Hotel on the strip.
Paris was in the news during The World Cup games as having marijuana. In 2007 she spent 23 of a 45 day sentence in jail for an alcohol related reckless driving conviction.
