No one wants to think about all of the stupid things that this girl has done. And, I say “girl” because she in no way deserves to be called a woman. A real woman doesn’t act like her. A real woman makes mistakes, learns from them, and tries to do better the next time. Paris Hilton doesn’t try to do anything.
It would be such a refreshing change to actually see Hilton charged with any one of the many illegal acts she has committed. And, it would be particularly nice if the charge would stick. Why does anyone care what she does in the first place? The best thing for this girl would be for the media to stop reporting on her every move. Perhaps if the attention went away, so would she.
Recently, I saw the biography of Conrad Hilton on television. He is the great-grandfather of Paris and the founder of the Hilton hotel chain. It was amazing to see how hardworking and determined Conrad was. In addition, he was a deeply religious person, thanks to the influence of his mother. While watching his life unfold, I just couldn’t believe that all of his hard work was being tarnished by a spoiled heiress.
Paris must be a PR nightmare for the Hilton Corporation. I, for one, refuse to stay at a Hilton hotel, because I can’t stand the thought of giving a single cent of my money to that family. It would feel like I was condoning the behavior of Conrad’s descendants. I will not participate in making any Hilton richer, or more entitled, than they already are. I wonder how many other people have made a similar vow not to patronize the Hilton chain…
How can the justice system be so corrupt? How is it possible that Martha Stewart had to go to jail for white-collar crime, and Paris Hilton has had no repercussions for repeatedly breaking the law? People wonder why today’s generation has a devil-may-care attitude, but isn’t it obvious? There has to be a consequence to bad behavior. And, that starts at home. A slap on the wrist doesn’t make the problem any better – just bigger.
It doesn’t matter how old Paris is, somebody needs to talk some sense into her. Can you imagine if one of Donald Trump’s kids acted like this? That child would be whipped into shape so fast, you’d never hear a bad thing again. I like the zero tolerance approach. It seems to work. If the legal system won’t use it on Paris Hilton, perhaps her parents should try it on for size.
