Transit has been hectic the past few days in Park Slope due to Friday’s fire, but at least there will be some extra parking for this week’s holiday.
According to the 2010 New York City Parking Calendar, alternative side parking regulations are suspended until Thursday November 18, 2010 in observance of Idul Adha. Idul Adha is known as the “Day of Sacrifice” and is a Muslim celebration.
“No Parking” street cleanings will be suspended during the posted hours for the holiday. All meters must be fed as metered parking is not suspended on those days, according to the Department of Transportation.
