So, I’m a fan of Juicy Couture. They have very expensive stuff, but they’re attractive and their perfumes smell good. I must admit, when I first smelled Juicy Couture, I didn’t like it. Then I fell in love with it, and it made me like other fragrances that I thought smelled similar to it: Fairy Dust by Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.
Juicy Couture has a new fragrance called Peace Love & Juicy Couture. I was so disappointed with its smell.
The top notes are Meyer lemon tree blossom, hyacinth, and sweet apple. The mid notes are jasmine, magnolia, and honeysuckle, and the bottom notes are orris, patchouli, and musk.
I was expecting it to smell…well… good. It did not. The first thing I smelled was jasmine-booty smelling jasmine. You know, the kind of jasmine that smells like someone’s butt? That scent stuck with me so long. I couldn’t smell anything else.
Then, I smelled lemon. It was the same lemon scent I smell in all perfumes. I also smelled a sweet grassy scent. Maybe it was the “sweet apple”. It smelled more like sour apple.
I smelled nothing else than jasmine, lemon, and green stuff. That’s not good enough for me. It smelled like a rip off of other Juicy Couture fragrances. It didn’t measure up at all. The scent isn’t strong either. It doesn’t last very long, so that’s a big problem considering that it’s $67 a bottle. I’m giving it 1 out of 5 stars.
