In the thick darkness of night
Under the glow of a grinning face of white,
A sun shines powerfully and bright.
And as the light washes over the shrouded land, a face smiles.
Not the face of the moon staring down from so many miles,
But the face of an admirer,
A boy who seems to have found love in her.
It is a love that was meant to be,
So natural and so healthy,
So inevitable and so strong,
It is a lace of bond that cannot be broken,
And like her heart, it came out to show him,
That love can grow from a small stream into a mighty river,
And love can come easily, and can last forever and ever.
And as that river drains into an ocean,
It floods into a current of desired devotion.
A devotion to them,
And a genuine balance between her and him.
It is a playful love,
A romantic love,
An unconquerable love.
Even as they share a life together in the world above,
It is still tangible, and unending,
And it is proven by permanent rings,
Which loop around the both of them.
Through spoken vowels, and a golden kiss,
A spark lights, and it isn’t missed,
Because it is this spark that lights the fuse,
A fuse gratefully treated, and never abused,
A fuse that burns down into truelove,
And ignites a world of two,
A world to live in life after life,
As husband and wife.
It is a world to share,
Holding hands and never wishing to dare their love away,
or to leave the words which would say,
I love you and always will,
It is a love that will never grow ill,
And a love that can be shared together,
Forever and ever…
