Linus wouldn’t have had to spend the night in the pumpkin patch to see the Great Pumpkin at Ward’s Berry Farm in Sharon, Massachusetts! He would’ve had plenty of great pumpkins to choose from here! You and your family can pick your own pumpkins, see farm animals, play in the hay, get lost in the corn maze and still be home in time for trick-or-treating!
You can begin your day at Ward’s Berry Farm with their 10-minute hayride that takes you out and drops you off in a sea of bright orange! There you’ll find exactly the right pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern or front porch. You can catch the hayride back to civilization and move on the next activity.
The kids will be able to play for hours on the giant hay pyramid. And, don’t forget to get lost in the awesome corn maze. There is also an animal barn where you and the kids can enjoy visiting a variety of four-legged friends including bunnies, cows and sheep.
Mozey on over to the country store where you’ll find a great selection of fresh-baked breads, scones, pies and, of course, Mrs. Ward’s famous homemade cookies! You can also pick up your pumpkin, gourd or squash inside the store.
