There has been a significant amount of interest and press on Downtown Brooklyn commercial real estate in the last few weeks.
Shortly after Filene’s Basement/Syms announced it would lease space at 490 Fulton St on the Fulton St Mall, Planet Fitness announced it would join the retailer at the same location, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported. Planet Fitness is going to lease 18,000 square feet of space on the second floor of the building.
Planet Fitness already has a location in Downtown Brooklyn at 249 Duffield St. With two locations in the same area, business must be good.
