Start out slow and aim for 50 oz water daily, and work your way up to ½ your body weight in ounces. Ways to get your first fifty ounces. Drink 10 oz of water first thing in the morning, and 10 oz of water before you go to bed. That will only leave 30 oz during the day. For better digestion do not drink 15 minutes before or after a meal, and never drink water with a meal.
Rest and relaxation: Sleep is essential to feeling great and rejuvenating your body. In order to get a restful night of sleep, aim to cut off all outside influences 50 minutes before bedtime. No television, radio, or telephone. Read a book, thumb thru a magazine, and take a bubble bath. Start to unwind before bedtime and you will find that you rest much better. Also if you are a night owl, aim to get at least 50 hours of sleep each week. That is roughly about 7 hours of sleep each night.
