There will soon be another Italian red sauce joint in Park Slope. Try and hold back your excitement.
Brownstoner posted that PS Brooklyn will be the name of the new establishment taking over the old Bussaco spot at 833 Union Street. Many believe this location to be the site of a restaurant graveyard. However, PS Brooklyn isn’t slated to be a run-of-the-mill Italian eatery.
PS Brooklyn is going to specialize not only in pizza and pasta, but also in burgers and pot pies. A veritable trifecta of comfort cuisine.
Pizza, pie, and burgers joints have saturated the Brooklyn restaurant scene lately as much as they have residents’ arteries. Hopefully they do all three comfort foods well. As much as people hate to admit they eat in a neighborhood red sauce joint, there are plenty of Italian eateries in the area doing well.
