I will be honest. The men’s Pulse Moves is not as good as the woman’s! But it’s still very nice.
What I don’t like about this fragrance is that it doesn’t smell as fresh and clean as I would like it to smell. It also smells kind of herbal.
The first notes I smelled was something that reminded me of cigarettes. Yeah, not a good smell. It smelled horrible. But after a while, it started to smell much better. Sort of like lemon and grapefruit. Citrus is always heavily used in men’s fragrances.
Then, I started to smell ginger in this one, just like I did in the women’s Pulse Moves. It kind of reminds me of a fragrance I used to have from Mark Cosmetics called Grapefruit Ginger. It’s discontinued now, but I loved it. There was even a girl that I knew that said she ordered the Grapefrit Ginger shower gel, and her husband used it more than she did.
Anyways, the Pulse Moves starts to smell sweet and powdery, but it still had that burnt wood or cigarette smell to it–and even though it sounds strange, the scent is a very good one. I like it. It smells really soft and casual. I recommend it.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s $26 a bottle.
