With the fall season underway, families from all over get ready for Halloween, as they set out for that perfect pumpkin to carve into their creation of a jack-o-lantern. That’s right, every house decorated for Halloween has atleast one on display, or it just wouldn’t be Halloween. It is like that finishing touch, the icing on the cake, as jack-o-lanterns accent your Halloween decorations or haunted house. The one finishing touch, your family’s unique creation, your creation of a jack-o-lantern.
The best thing about it all, you can turn pumpkin carving into a complete day trip for the whole family. Instead of going to a local farmer’s market or supermarket, head out to one of New Jersey’s beautiful pumpkin patches, and search for the perfect pumpkin to suit your carving needs. It is definitely a wonderful experience that you won’t forget. It has been such a wonderful treat for my family and me, that we have turned it into a yearly tradition, and has been going on for 11 years now. Everyone in the family loves the fact that they have their own choice of pumpkin that they choose, as it allows us to all add our own individuality to it. But there is one small downfall about it all, you can never leave with just one pumpkin. So be prepared to carry or haul some pumpkins around the patch.
Don’t worry if you don’t know where to go or which pumpkin patches are better than others. I have done all that work for you, as I have put together 5 great locations for you and your family to set out, and find your perfect pumpkin to carve. The rest is up to you.
