Speculation about a Randy Moss trade swirled the early morning of October 6, 2010. The current New England Patriot and high-powered free agent receiver may be acquired to bolster the lagging receiving corps of the Minnesota Vikings. No word has been indicated as to what the trade would entail, but with the Patriots no longer the top-of-the-stack, Moss seems unlikely to be re-signed.
Rumors fly often about Moss, a vet receiver with a colorful past. The Vikings may be willing to let go of past transgressions, and reach into their wallet. If this is Brett Favre’s last year, he’s going to need more of a receiving threat with the loss of their #1, Sidney Rice. An official announcement has yet to be made.
