California residents have a wide range of rebates and tax incentives available for the purchase of energy star products. These programs include energy star product rebates, ‘cash for appliances’ rebates, and energy tax credits.

Cash for appliances rebate program
Another rebate program that may apply to your energy star product is the ‘cash for appliances’ rebate program. Most energy star refrigerators, clothes washers, air conditioners, dishwashers, freezers, water heaters, and heating systems will be eligible for the cash for appliances rebate. To get more information on the cash for appliances rebate, go to the cash4appliances website.
Energy tax credits
Your energy star product may be eligible for energy tax credits as well. Energy tax credits serve as deductions on your annual tax return and reduce the amount of taxes paid for the year the credit applies, thus reducing the amount of taxes you pay that year.
