This article will serve as a walkthrough for the eighth Soviet mission in the PC game Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 which is entitled ‘The Stone-Faced Witnesses’. This mission starts with both commanders starting with bases on either side of an island, preparing a surprise force. The objectives of The Stone-Faced Witnesses in Red Alert 3 is to betray the Allied forces, who have come to sign a peace treaty, to crush the remaining resistance in Europe. The Soviet Commander will be assisted by Zhana in the struggle Bingham’s forces during The Stone-Faced Witnesses in Red Alert 3.

This mission begins with both commanders placed on either side of the channel that the ambassador’s ship will be coming down. Start building up your base, taking the naval ore stockpile with a sputnik while building some naval forces, some stingrays, akulas and bullfrogs, choose the magnetic satellite upgrade when possible, as it will help in the early part of this mission. Make sure to build an airfield and at least one twinblade. Set up any defenses you wish to defend from attacks coming from the top and left of your base. Capture the two oil rigs to the north.
The Allied ships show up a few at a time, before the ambassador himself. When he goes into the harbor, leaving his escort behind, the signal will be given to attack. At this point use the twinblade to take out the ambassador, while using the magnetic satellite to suck up all the Allied naval forces that head towards your base with any stragglers handled by your small navy.
After the Allied escorts and the ambassador are destroyed, the map expands to the west, revealing the Allied base being set up on a small island, along with another oil derrick and machine shop. Move some engineers out to capture the neutral structures while training some dreadnoughts and Natasha to attack the island. In the mean time, start a Machine Shop and work on land forces for the next phase of this mission, building defenses to the north. The allied will send some naval forces to attack but this tide is soon stemmed from the co-commanders attack on their naval yards. Once the dreadnoughts take out the turrets guarding the base, let Natasha swim on shore and target the remaining buildings for airstrikes.
Once the Island is clear of the Allies, the Premier reveals himself to be the true traitor, having set up Krukov and now turning against the commanders. The map is expanded to reveal an extensive base to the north, with multiple production facilities spread out with flak turrets guarding each building. Start immediately working on clearing a path to the Vacuum Imploder to stop it before it can fire, taking out all the facilities along the way. Mixes of all land vehicles are beneficial, along with Natasha and some various infantry. Don’t take aircraft with you, as there are too many air defenses here, however very few ground ones.
Be careful of the Easter Island statues, as they have been modified with hazards. There are different groups of three statues each that work as troop deployment buildings, and single statues that serve as hidden tesla coils. During the path to the vacuum Imploder, you will find that as long as the co-commander keeps Cherdenko’s forces occupied, everything falls easily to ground forces. When you get close to the Imploder, bring some V4 launchers to knock them out from afar before bringing in the ground forces to mop everything up. You can capture the war factory to produce Tesla Tanks.
After the Vauum Imploder is down, and the external base structures mopped up, the remaining task is to destroy the volcano fortress. The only way to do this is from the air, since there is a large amount of impassable terrain that surrounds the facility. These 3 buildings are all guarded by flak towers, so either bring a spam force of twinblades, or a handful of Kirovs to finish off Cherdenko and put the snake of a premier in the grave.
