I rarely put anything other than milk or Silk soy milk in my coffee, but when a friend brought over Coffee-mate’s NEW Honey vanilla creme creamer, knowing that I like to put honey in my coffee sometimes, I was eager to try this coffee creamer out. Honey and vanilla are right up my alley, and with 50 calories per serving (25 from fat) I figured it wouldn’t be too sweet to adorn my daily brew with.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much honey I tasted in the mix. It quite literally tasted like I had just pored a fair amount of honey in my coffee, and the vanilla sweet aftertaste was like heaven. I think I have found a coffee creamer I actually like, as the honey and vanilla together taste homemade, and it keeps me from having to heat my honey in the microwave to make it pour out, and just a teaspoon of the creamer works to sweeten my coffee. it’s almost too honey sweet, so I could even make due with half a teaspoon of creamer and still have ample flavor.
This honey vanilla creme coffee creamer is the only coffee creamer (liquid or dry) that has ever not had that “fake” taste to it that tasted sour in my mouth right after I drank it. Most coffee creamers make me gag halfway through a cup, but since the honey and the vanilla are so natural tasting, it tastes like I made the creamer myself, without having to do all the preparation, and it’s one creamer I can actually stand and enjoy. I love the creamy vanilla and hint of honey aftertaste when I drink my coffee, and the flavors are delicious with the coffee itself.
I am drinking a cup of coffee right now with this delightful creamer from Coffee-mate, and they hit a real winner! The flavor tastes authentic and is just sweet enough to do the trick that you don’t need to pour in more than a teaspoon. The aftertaste is surprisingly sweet, and it’s the only coffee creamer I’ve actually had from the store that I can enjoy. It’s delicious.
