Febreze has once again hit up shelves with their highly sought after limited edition holiday fragrances. I am an Air Effects junkie, and with each passing season I know to keep a close eye out for their new releases, because I know that at times these sought after limited time delights fly off the shelves as quickly as they landed on them.
Winter scents of course would be the focus around this time of year, and I was hoping that Febreze graced shelves with new scents, instead of repeats of last years fragrances. Thankfully they did just that, brand new, never before sniffed winter fragrances, and the one I picked up recently Winter Evening & Warmth has probably been on of my top favorite limited time releases; in fact this scent may very well be my top favorite Air Effects scent as a whole. It is one I hope they keep year round, but know they won’t.
All Air Effects come in different themed cans, and Winter Evening & Warmth is no exception. It has the standard Air Effects look to it, the bottle shape and nozzle remain the same, but the can itself features a bunch of little pine cone sketches with small candles lit up in one of the pine cone shapes.
This initially told me that this scent would perhaps smell like pine and vanilla. The pine to give off that winter forest scent, and the vanilla to give off the warmth.
My assumption was off however by a landslide.
Winter Evening & Warmth smells like no other Air Effects I had ever smelled, and most of Febreze’s Air Effects all seem to have this official Febreze stamp to them when it comes to scent, its like a lingering fresh scent, but not very original. This particular scent however is more like a romantic winter evening. It gives off a delightful musk like fragrance that does have this winter ice effect about it. However the musk scent is warm, powdery and highly addicting.
For me it smelled like what I smell like after having a warm bubble bath with a few Lush bath products.
It’s warm, it’s icy, and it is oh-so-delicious.
This particular Limited Edition Air Effects is worth seeking out. You can pick it up now at any superstore for about $2.50, but if you plan on getting it, you better hurry, because time is running out.
