I have always been a fan of anything Febreze has to offer, and whenever they release something new, I do not hesitate to try it. I came across their newest product this past week called Set & Refresh.
Set & Refresh is basically a new home fragrance diffuser type gadget. I picked it up in Apple Spice & Delight, because I figured this one would be best for the fall season, and apple scented fragrances are amongst my favorite scents.
Setting the little plastic air freshener was relatively simple; you place the small oil packet into the plastic freshener and click down. The base of the freshener will pop up and wallah, you will begin to smell the scent releasing immediately.
Setting the air freshener up was easy, but figuring out how to click it up was a little annoying, and the instructions were semi vague. I figured it out by accident, by pressing down. Pressing down caused the base to pop up.
Now up close the scent is a delicious apple cinnamon fragrance which is perfect for the fall season. However after placing the air freshener into the living room and leaving it alone for 24 hours, I came back into the closed off room and realized that scent had indeed flooded the room, it smelled simply delicious, but here is the kicker. It did not at all smell like the apple cinnamon scent it had given off the day before.
What I was smelling though was a refreshing evergreen scent, which reminded me of an old Febreze winter scented noticeables that they had been selling last Christmas.
Granted the scent was not bad, it was odd that it did in fact go from smelling like apples, to refreshing evergreen. So our seasons were a bit off now, but I didn’t mind at all because Evergreen is possible my favorite scent, hands down.
The Set & Refresh air freshener does in fact work, and it works well, with a lingering scent that anyone would enjoy. However this particular Apple Spice & Delight smells more like it belongs to the winter season. I still love it though, and still highly recommend it for a refreshing scent added to any room in the home.
