You will probably be able to recognize many of the animals here, but they also have a few that your kids might not be familiar with.
Of course, it seems that every zoo has elephants, tigers, lions, and giraffes, as this one does, and these animals are some of the most loved by smaller kids.
They also have some more scary animals like a rattlesnake and crocodile.
Your children will most certainly love the pink flamingoes and penguins as well as the monkeys and koalas they have to view.
In addition to just viewing these animals, they also offer shows and presentations on some of them during the early afternoon. You can also feed the giraffes and birds in their respected exhibits.
Of course your kids will want a little more fun, and Riverbanks has a lot of extra activities available for an extra fee. A 3-D movie theater, carousel, climbing wall, and pony rides are the other fun things that you and your family are sure to enjoy.
