The armed robber who tried to rob Sabine’s Hallway Beauty Salon on Franklin Avenue is at-large but wounded, according to the New York Post.
At around 6:30 p.m., Sabine’s door should have been locked, but a woman came into the salon to make an appointment. She held the door open and the armed robber entered.
The gunman attempted to rob the customers but he got a surprise: 50-year-old NYPD officer Feris Jones was getting her hair done. She drew her weapon and identified herself as a police officer. The gunman fired three shots at Jones, at close range, which she miraculously dodged. Then she plugged him once; he fled leaving some blood behind.
Jones has since identified this thug from police photos. Thanks to the brave police officer, no one but the gunman was injured.
