Entertainment Tonight (ET) gave their audience a glimpse of what Wasilla, Alaska looked like during the brief homecoming Bristol Palin had while giving her dancing partner Mark Ballas a brief tour of her hometown. While the cameras were rolling, the audience got to see the one four way stop and a glimpse of the high school where she graduated.
Yet, what everyone may have really cared was the brief interview her mom, Sarah Palin, gave ET. During this interview she said some nice things about daughter Bristol such as praising her independent streak and commenting on how her daughter knew that: ‘Life is short, this isn’t a dress rehearsal, you might as well seize opportunities, to get out there and face your challenges.’
Sarah also stated that she would be returning to Hollywood with her daughter. Last week was grandma’s turn and this week was her turn.
What will this mean for Bristol? Will it make her more nervous? Will it impact her dancing? Will it help her to do better since Sarah after all is her mother?
Yet, will Sarah’s appearance and all the fan fare that goes along with it ruin the show? Last week reports stated that she was going to be in attendance, in the audience and many fans were upset over this fact.
The audience may have realized that she was Bristol’s mother and probably wanted to see her dance. Yet, Sarah Palin is more than Bristol’s Palin’s mother; she is a political figure who may be trying to run for the office of President soon. Some say she is just using her daughter’s publicity to help fuel her campaign? What do you think? Should she be allowed camera time from the sidelines like other mothers or if she does show up in Hollywood should she watch quietly away from the cameras as the polite thing to do?
