3. Plan ahead.
A significant part of saving money on clothes is knowing what you are going to buy before you go shopping. When you know what you are going to buy beforehand you are less likely to be sidetracked and buy things that you do not need. Another good thing about thrift shops is that you can also sell or donate your gently used or never worn clothes to a thrift store to be sold.
Buy quality clothes, and you will not have to keep spending money on new clothes because of rips or tears. Also, quality clothing usually fits better which will make you look better.
