Reminiscent of the old school Double Dragon games, this adventure is sure to please the proverbial gamer. With 7 lengthy levels, each one is action-packed with fighting scenes. Some of the difficulty of the levels might make it a bit tough to pass on your own. This is where you can recruit the help from up to 3 additional friends. Only problem is, they must be in your home to play. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is not available for online play so why not invite a few friends over and have a Scott Pilgrim party in your home?
The game is exciting and features tributes throughout to Guitar Hero and Super Mario Bros. It also features a background soundtrack from the Chip-Tune band Anamanaguchi. They are known for their distinct sounds and incorporating a hacked SNES and Game-boy into their musical repertoire.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is sure to pleas many a gamer out there, however if you find some of the levels too difficult to pass and can’t recruit the help of some friends, your best bet is to replay the levels several times which will make you stronger. You can then beat the boss at the end of each level in as little as a few hits. Also, stop by the store to buy some food which will restore energy when it is most needed.
