Similarities of extra weight and debt! LOL
Hmmm. Just stupid observations! Too much weight is like too much debt. It also takes the same type of mental attitude to lose both! See if you agree.
1.) Weight: Too much fat. Debt: Owe too much.
2.) Weight: Always have the “want” to lose excess weight. Debt: Also, always “want” to have less.
3.) Weight: you gain it quick and lose it slow. Debt: Seems to also gain quick and hard/slow to lose it.
4.) Weight: Try to lose it by some type of plan i.e. I will do some type of diet and start exercising. Debt: Try to lose it by some type of plan. I will control my spending and/or make more money.
5.) Weight: We feel much better when we have less and are in line with what we are suppose to weigh. Less stress. Debt: We feel much better when we have less or are in line with our means. Less stress.
6.) Weight: There are a crapload of diets and exercise routines. Debt: There are a crapload of books/experts/planners with all the advice and methods in the world.
7.) Weight: You can get extreme to lose it quick (ie lipo or gastric bypass). Debt: You can try to get rid of it quick by winning the lotto or by filing bankruptcy!
8.) Weight: No doubt if you don’t change your diet/exercise habits, you won’t lose it. Debt: No doubt if you don’t change your spending/savings habits, you won’t lose it.
9.) Weight: It first helps to know where you are at and track things. i.e. weight yourself and track what you are eating calorie/nutrition wise. Debt: Put all your income, assets, bills on a sheet to determine where you are at.
Last observation: It helps to share and get ideas from people going through the same thing as you. Set goals and figure out where you are at and how you are going to get there!
