Brooklyn Heights residents can take solace in the fact that what currently is, may end up being much more.
According to The L Magazine (1) “a refurbished park space in Brooklyn Heights” Squibb Park looks to be shaping up to become a skater’s paradise. Someday.
“Right now, the ‘skate park’ is more like a skate space. Flat, multi-colored rubber covers the entirety of the lot, with a few benches here and there and a small bathroom building sits near the entrance.”
Okay, so it’s not Kona or Black Pearl, but this skate park in Brooklyn Heights is a good thing. And the way the designer speaks about it, this thing which it is could one day be much more! Paula Hewitt Amram says “a few more skate park-like objects will be added.”
