The receivers at Brees disposal have been solid this season but they have not had the breakaway speed as in previous years.
The St Louis Rams defense has been competitive all season and their strong suit has been keeping their opponents from busting them up with a running game. Their opponents are passing for just under 240 yards per game which is a little below average in the NFL this season.
James Laurinaitis is still the linebacker that is in charge of this defense and he has become known as one of the best linebackers in the NFL. The New Orleans Saints offense has a decided edge over the St Louis Rams defense.
