Almost everybody in the United States wants to lose weight. Studies show that the United States has more over weight people than many other countries. Reasons for this vary from us eating too much to us not exercising enough. Well whatever the reasons might be we all can lose weight if we try. If you want to lose weight you’re probably going to have to make 2 life style changes. This will include changing your diet and making better food choices. Also you’re going to have to start getting more exercise. The key to weight lose is burning more calories than you bring in daily. You should only lose 1 or 2 pounds a week when losing weight. If you lose weight to fast your skin may not bounce back properly.
Sugar, carbohydrates, and alcohol are your sworn enemy. You never should cut them out all together, but you must cut back on these food items. If you like sweet foods like candy bars, cakes, and ice cream these foods must go. It’s important to know the difference between good and bad carbohydrates. The truth about bad carbohydrates is anything processed is a bad carbohydrate. This means stuff like microwavable TV dinners, canned foods like spaghettios, and stuff like that. Good carbohydrates are stuff like brown rice, whole grains, beans, and nuts. If you have to cheat a little homemade pasta would be okay.
Last but not least you must exercise more often. Most people don’t realize how much time they spend sitting in a chair. Are you always on the internet or in front of a TV? If so chances are you’re not getting much exercise like this. Exercising doesn’t mean you have to be an Olympic weight lifter. It just means you have to start being more active. Losing weight is about 80% diet and 20% exercise believe it or not. Your exercise can be something like parking further away at the grocery store. Or things like taking the dog for 3 more extra walks for the week. Anybody can lose weight if there willing to change there diet and be more active.
