Yours child’s first Christmas is an exciting time for all parents. Depending on the age of your child, you might get to watch them open up their presents, or if they are newborns, you can just share the day with them.
The perfect way to fill up the stocking is too use little toys, such as cars, rattles, and blocks. Easily fills up the stocking without spending a ton of cash on it. Other items that would be great as they get older is board books, which you can read too them, or they can chew on.
Another great way to fill the stocking up is to buy things you are going to need before too long. Jarred baby foods are wonderful, as your young one doesn’t even know what is going on anyways. Other items would be great is fruit such as bananas and the little Gerber puffs and fruit snacks.
Wrapping up cute little onsies and letting your child “un-wrap them” will make for some really cute pictures, and some fun times between you and your child. Some ideas for clothing items are onsies, shirts, pants, socks, hats and mittens. All should be small enough to wrap up and put in the stocking.
Some items such as babies’ first toothbrush and toothpaste would make great stocking stuffers. You might also think to put in small things of baby shampoo, hairbrushes, nail clippers, and any other cute little bath items you might find for cheap at the store.
Usually you can find items like sippy cups for cheap at a Wal-Mart or Target. Baby silverware and dishes would also be handy for when you begin to spoon feed. Other great items to add to the stocking is bibs and wash cloths. Always the best to have plenty around.
Always try to think of what you will need before too long, and remember that your kids will not remember this Christmas at all. This Christmas is for you and your family to take pictures to remember this special day. Enjoy it because before too long your baby will be all grown up. It happens so fast.
