Cookies are a food item that I eat almost every night and among the types of cookies that I eat most often are Stop & Shop brand Hometown Bakery Raspberry Filled Cookies. These cookies are just one of several varieties of Hometown Bakery Cookies that are regularly stocked and sold at Stop & Shop supermarkets throughout the northeastern United States.
These cookies are normally priced at $1 per package at Stop & Shop supermarkets, but to me, they are just as good as higher – priced, name brand cookies. I am so impressed with these delicious cookies, that I have decided to write a product review of them. Presented here, as a service to the consumer at large, is one food writer’s product review of Stop & Shop brand Hometown Bakery Raspberry Filled Cookies.
The net weight of the standard – sized package of Stop & Shop brand Hometown Bakery Raspberry Filled Cookies is 8.25 ounces. According to the nutrition label, the package holds eight 1 cookie servings. This serving size sounds realistic to me, usually one of these cookies is enough to satisfy my appetite / sweet tooth. In physical size, each of these cookies is fairly large, actually larger than most other varieties of cookies.
As mentioned above, the regular retail price charged for one 8.25 ounce package of Hometown Bakery Raspberry Filled Cookies is $1. I am amazed at how inexpensively – priced these cookies are, especially when their large size, pleasing taste and overall high quality are taken into consideration. Although they may sport a bargain price tag, there is nothing cheap about the flavor, texture or quality of these cookies.
The texture of Stop & Shop brand Hometown Bakery Raspberry Filled Cookies is one of the factors that makes me enjoy eating them so much. I think that the main body of these cookies resembles a very good shortbread cookie. It is not too soft and not too hard and a thin line of raspberry filling runs through the center of each cookie. The center of each cookie also features a nice circle of raspberry filling, which complements the rest of the cookie wonderfully.
