Shannon Elkins Continues With His Distorted Views On Sash
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse when it came to Survivor Nicaragua’s Shannon Elkins’ homophobic rant on fellow tribemate Sash during tribal council in epiosde 2, it now appears as though the former has a bit more to say on the topic in some twisted dialogue when interviewed after he got back to the States.
For starters, Elkins was shown on the program asking Sash if were gay in an abrupt statement meant to embaress him in front of the tribe and national television. This was in reponse to some testy moments between the two as Elkins wound up figuring out he was going home and that he was going to go out on his terms. He went on to tell Jeff Probst that there are much more gay people in NYC than in Louisiana where he is from. With all that being said, Shannon was interviewed by the good folks at Fancast and was asked a question about whether or not Sash was in the mob since he is from NYC and his reponse was “No, I was concerned that he was gay and I was protecting my butthole.” Unreal. This was redacted in the Fancast transcript but was confirmed by Reality Blurred.
So there really is nothing more to say on the subject as its clear Mr. Elkins just doesn’t get it and its even more amazing to me that he has this kind of thinking as a so-called mature individual with a wife and kids. Wonderful human being.
SURVIVOR 22 INFO
There is some more info being leaked out about the possible setup for Survivor 22 which we all know by now to be the Russell VS Rob season and we hear that the medallion of power will be in play during this series as it is with the current season. There is still gray area when it comes to whether or not one or both Russell or Rob gets to join in the game at the merge but this surely will be leaked out soon enough now that the season has wrapped. Either way there will be hidden immunity idols and the medallion of power at work so Russell has got some setup for him to do well here. That is until he gets to the final and gets reamed out again. We shall see.
