Sweet Potato Apple Soup
You will need:
2 29-ounce cans yams / sweet potatoes (I use Bruce’s)
1 1/2 cups plain applesauce, smooth or chunky
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
To make the sweet potato apple soup:
Step 1. Drain the yams, reserving the liquid.
Step 2. Place the yams, apple sauce, and pumpkin pie spice in a blender.
Step 3. Blend until smooth.
Step 4. Pour mixture into a pot and heat until hot, adding the reserved yam liquid until the soup is the consistency you like. Enjoy!
Note: If it makes you feel better, throw a few marshmallows on top! (This also works if your kids are sticking their noses up at it)
