Last week, I ate two Table Talk Apple Pies. One of these single serving pies, I ate plain, straight from the box and the other, I consumed with some vanilla ice cream. As always, these pies were not only delicious, but very well textured and pleasing to look at.
The Table Talk Apple Pie is packaged in a miniature aluminum pie pan and is an authentic, traditional apple pie. Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is one food writer’s product review of Table Talk Apple Pie.
The net weight of the single serving size Table Talk Apple Pie is four ounces (114 grams). In physical size, the top of the pie measures four inches across. While one of these pies is considered one serving, I find that half of a pie is usually just enough to satisfy my appetite and sweet cravings.
The regular retail price charged for one four ounce Table Talk Apple Pie at Hartford, Connecticut area pharmacies, supermarkets and convenience stores ranges between $0.99c and $1.29. I think that these prices are very reasonable, considering the great flavor, wonderful texture and overall high quality that these pies possess.
The price of the single serving size Table Talk Apple Pie is actually a little bit lower than that of Hostess and Drake’s single serving size pies, but the Table Talk pies are oh-so-much better.
The texture of Table Talk Apple Pie is an important component when it comes to reviewing the pie. This pie is a real, homemade like pie that is always expertly baked. The dough on the lower part of the pie is an ideal match for the tasty apple filling and the dough on top is golden brown, light and appropriately flaky. The apple filling is traditional style apple pie filling that marries well with the crust. The overall mouth feel offered by Table Talk Apple Pie is quite satisfying.

Taste / Flavor
In reviewing the flavor of Table Talk Apple Pie, I find it refreshing to be glad that a food item offers a traditional flavor. Nothing unusual or unique here. Just a delicious apple pie that tastes exactly the way an apple pie is supposed to taste. The filling is spiced just right and is not too sweet and the crust is fantastic.
I have to say, I’ve been eating Table Talk pies since I was in elementary school and have never experienced anything but satisfaction with every one of their pies I have eaten. A couple of nights ago, I ate one of these pies a ‘la mode, with ice cream on top and the flavor combination was phenomenal. If you enjoy eating delicious apple pie, chances are, you’ll really like this pie.
