If you’re into scavenger hunts, races, riddles, and possibly looking silly on TV, check out the Amazing Brooklyn Race, scheduled for this coming Sunday, November 14th at the crack of 1:30 pm.
Described as “part scavenger hunt, part obstacle course, all Brooklyn!” this thing is sure to be entertaining, if not necessarily for everybody who participates, then definitely for the spectators who get to watch the wild eyed desperation of losing contestants.
And we offer this Amazing Race to you, Prospect Heights, because it starts at the Grand Army Plaza! How convenient is that?
The race will require contestants to explore well beyond the bounds of the Heights, however, to include the depths of DUMBO, the dark tangles of Prospect Park, and the bewitching flora of Carroll Gardens.
While the race starts at 1:30, do not be later than 1:00, because registration is required and you don’t want to start the race late. Each team will also need to have some sort of digital camera or camera phone.
Check the online event flyer here, for more information. And good luck to all Prospect Heights teams!
