It’s the seventh episode of real people “hurt by the recession,” vying for a spot in the Trump empire. Last week Kelly was fired. As winning project manager for the last task, Anand met with Chuck Davis, CEO of Fandango and Daily Candy.
After the last boardroom, Mahsa and Brandy got into a war of words. Brandy told Mahsa to, “shut the f*** up.” Now there was definite tension between the two ladies.
For this week’s task the teams had to come up with promotional materials and 15-minute presentation for new Broadway musicals. They would be judged by Broadway heavyweights John Yonover, Daryl Roth and Kristin Chenoweth. Liza and Steuart were project managers.
Over at Fortitude the women were thinking about how to promote their show “Darling.” Stephanie knew music and was upset because Liza had no clue about what musicals were. Poppy also tried to say she had music experience but Steph got in the way. Both Brandy and Poppy told Liza that they should have a narrator for their task. Liza was a bit lost and couldn’t explain their task when Don Jr. showed up. Brandy had to step in to explain and Don wasn’t impressed. Liza sent Stephanie and Mahsa to work on the promotional materials. They didn’t make the graphics the way Liza wanted and she got upset when she saw them but it was too late. At the presentation Liza did a good job but the judges couldn’t really follow the other parts like narration and music.
Over at Octane Steuart decided to keep David preoccupied by asking him to get lunch. Then the men could work on their presentation for “Little Miss Fix It.” David returned and complained that they weren’t using his ideas. But Steuart did decide to use David’s idea of not having a narrator and then trusted him to continue to work on the presentation. Meanwhile Clint and Anand went to the printer for the promos. At the presentation Steuart didn’t do a good job presenting but the judges liked everything else.
In the boardroom the men won by a tie-breaker decision. As the winning PM, Steuart will meet with Snapple CEO and president.
The women bickered over the responsibility of the promo materials. Liza blamed Stephanie and Mahsa. Donald Trump told Liza that she was backpedaling when she said she wouldn’t have been PM if she had known the task was about musicals. The whole “shut the f*** up” incident was brought up. And Brandy said it was because Mahsa told Clint last week how much their team made before they went into the boardroom. Mahsa defended herself by saying Clint told her first how much they made. Clint saw this from the upstairs winner’s suite and got so mad he went down to the boardroom to defend himself. Clint said he told Mahsa that their team had made more than the women’s did – but didn’t say a number – and only after Mahsa had revealed the number. Steuart and David agreed.
Mahsa that was a very disloyal thing to do so you’re fired! Weird since it was for something last week but whatev. Mahsa is now pursuing on-air hosting.
