Last time I checked, ABC’s “Bachelor” Season 15 star Brad Womack wasn’t Barnabus Collins. But based on the promos for the upcoming season of “The Bachelor”, it looks like he’s got a lady vampire in his midst.
ABC showed a major “Bachelor” sneak peek during Tuesday night’s episode of “Skating With the Stars”. In the extended “Bachelor” preview, fans saw a remorseful Brad Womack, lamenting on how he left his first stint on the show still a single man.
In case you missed it, Womack was the Season 11 “Bachelor”, but he left the show without picking either of the final two women, breaking both of their hearts along the way. The last few years have been extremely difficult for him as he’s faced the fallout of……..not falling in love with someone?
Now, Womack is back and he’s ready for love. But everything doesn’t look to be all rosy, at least not at first.
A clip from the opening night “Bachelor” Season 1 limo meet and greet shows one contestant slapping him across the face- hard. She tells him, “This is from every woman in America.”
Ouch! Bitter much?(But don’t speak for all women, lady- I don’t wish any slaps on the dude! He was just doing his job last time).
The promo also showed several very skeptical women, asking why anything would be different for Brad this time around. And they’re on this show again, why?
But some gals definitely have a change of heart. Couldn’t have anything to do with Womack’s good looks and entrepreneur bank account, could it?
Womack is shown getting cozy with several different women in the promo, so I guess a few warmed up to him!
Then there’s the vampire chick. I don’t know any of the details, but the promo shows a blonde- who is sporting fangs. She’s playing up the whole “Twilight” craze, I guess. Very romantic. Not.
I would imagine she’ll be this season’s quirky character. There’s one every season. With all due respect to vampires and “Twilight” fans across the land, I can’t imagine Brad will propose to a girl who wears vampire fangs, though. If she lasts past the first rose night I’d be shocked, but they’ll play her up in the promos, just like they played up that hunter dude in Ali’s season. Promos, limo night, then gone for good.
Indeed it looks like Brad Womack may be stepping into the”Twilight” zone with this bunch of bachelorettes.
And those who are still bitter may say, “Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy…:”.
“The Bachelor” Season 15 premieres on January 3, 2011 on ABC.
